Phyllis Binkley

Phyllis specializes in western Mountain and Desert Landscape quilted wall hangings.  She uses her own hand-dyed fabrics for sky and mountains.  All of her pieces are one of a kind, original art designs.  She never repeats a quilt and none are made into kits.  The workshops she teaches encourage original designs.  Many of her pieces include hand as well as machine embroidery on the flowers in the foreground.  Machine thread painting is also used on trees and foliage.  Beads, three-dimensional fabrics, trapunto, and many other enhancements add interest texture and sparkle to the landscapes.
