Jill Schumacher
In May, Jill Schumacher “Quilter to the Queen” will be presenting “Amazing Machine Quilting” Jill began making her first quilts at the age of 12. It was not until many years later that Jill was introduced to the art of machine quilting in 1997. She fell in love with this method of quilting and has not stopped since first experiencing the thrill of completing each heirloom quilt. Her first machine quilted quilt won the Best of Show at the Siskiyou County Fair in 1998 and went on to take Second Place in the State level competition.
Jill is now teaching Internationally and in several of the western states and sharing her techniques with others so that they too, will be able to enhance the beauty of their own quilts
Jill’s Motto: Learning to machine quilt is as easy as learning to ride a bicycle.
May 12, 2012, Jill Schumacher will be teaching Machine Quilting. Jill has forwarded samples of her work for you to see. Stop by and look at her amazing designs.
She is willing to offer a 2-day session so sign up early if you want to Quilt, Quilt, Quilt for two days ! !

Phyllis Binkley
Phyllis specializes in western Mountain and Desert Landscape quilted wall hangings. She uses her own hand-dyed fabrics for sky and mountains. All of her pieces are one of a kind, original art designs. She never repeats a quilt and none are made into kits. The workshops she teaches encourage original designs. Many of her pieces include hand as well as machine embroidery on the flowers in the foreground. Machine thread painting is also used on trees and foliage. Beads, three-dimensional fabrics, trapunto, and many other enhancements add interest texture and sparkle to the landscapes.
